Mission Statement

This is a ministry of women, men, and youth committed to serving the body by keeping order in the sanctuary.   The purpose of this ministry is to allow each person attending our services to have a joyful experience free from outside distractions.

Psalm 100:4

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Objectives & Goals

The ushers of Thankful Baptist Church of Kennesaw would rather be doorkeepers in the Lord's house as we welcome all worshippers, the stewards of the temple, with a smile of love and thanksgiving.

Ushers offer assistance in getting everyone seated, direct you to where you need to go or offer a word of prayer when needed.  Ushers also provide security for the Church, in the sanctuary, and everywhere else in the Church.  Ushers are always nearby and prepared to assist you.

Other areas of ministry are greeting and giving directions, as well as assisting with special outreach.
